The Da Vinci Europe The Liquefied Gas Injector (LGI) was developed by Shell Global Solutions in close cooperation with Da Vinci Europe laboratory solutions. The LGI offers an alternative solution for the analysis of oily residue in LPG by use of Gas Chromatography. The LGI injects LPG under pressure and at room temperature directly on column. This new injector does not require a vaporizer, transfer line or valve; therefore there are no adsorption, discrimination or fractionation issues. The unique capabilities of the LGI make it possible to analyze and quantify the complex matrix of heavy boiling components in low boiling matrices.
